~ Chandelier (feat Lauriana Mae) - B.o.B

Hold me when I’m down
Bury my soul underneath the ground
Let my blood keep pumpin’
My heart keep beating
Shining like a chandelier

the end of summer, which means the end of my long, beautiful sumalde hair. time to shave it all off for some easy living (maybe, still debating about it)!

wow, i’m old. [my first serious-ish post about life]

everybody is getting married, left and right, young and old.

i’m twenty-ish, and not getting younger, and each time somebody gets married, i hear the same, trite question - roughly, “kailan ka,” which essentially asks “when are you going to get married?”

honestly, i wish i could say “fuck that shit!” but i can’t because it’s mostly family members asking, or close family friends, so i just smile and say, “di pa po”, a more polite and proper way of saying “fuck that shit” without the exclamation mark.

but i realize that with all these marriages happening, i need to get my life in order because i ain’t benjamin button (and thank god because that movie was boring as fuck). so it’s settled, i will finally apply myself to my potential so that i’ll be ready come january and may. yea!… (or question mark?)

to be honest, i’ll probably wake up tomorrow and want to do something else, but today i feel like doing this… this thing that’s vague… and you’ll just have to ask in person or facebook message or email.

fyi, i’ll be in the philippines third week of january and first week of may (tentatively, of course), so for all my filipino friends, please schedule accordingly! i need more barongs, so wedding invites will be greatly appreciated.

safe trip back home (US) to my parents! it was definitely a fun vacation.

looking at pictures though, i realize that i look more like my mother (sumalde), contrary to what i constantly heard in the philippines, especially in sagrada - “james na james” and “jacob ka no?”, which i admit was kind of funny having people asked me if i’m a jacob.

i’ve also heard that i don’t look like a sumalde, but sumalde parin ako!

If happy ever after did exist
I would still be holding you like this
All those fairytales are full of shit
One more fucking love song I’ll be sick
